An article for Georgia brides..
I recently toured a beautiful location for weddings in Acworth; owned by Joanne Tubo. She started with the Waterstone Grill restaurant, then later aquired the space next door and turned it into the Waterstone Conservatory. It is a grand space for weddings, ceremony and all.
The building has been completely rebuilt and reflects the essence of New Orlean's French Quarter. The rustic atmosphere of exposed brick with wrought iron fences is a true slice of the bayou!
First of all, the building has been officially certified as a national historic site.
Quaint main street in historic downtown Acworth.. notice the gorgeous hanging flowers and ferns!
When you first walk in, there is a welcome room where you might put your thank you gifts for guests and seating cards.
To the left is the lower level dining room, decorated French provincial style just like an indoor courtyard.
The upper level is as if you are walking down Bourbon Street... closed off for your special day!
The back opens up to the dance floor which can be viewed by guests from the upper level.
Both levels have outdoor areas. Imagine.. with your colors and flowers!
The Waterstone Conservatory will be open for weddings in September 2010. It is equipped for 200 - 300 people. The average wedding package cost is $10,000. Pricing includes:
-Ceremony
-Flowers
-Cake
-Food
*Alcohol is additional, but in the $2,000 range.
